      Creating Budget Quotes.

      How to create budget quotes. Useful for desktop quotes where site visit has not taken place.

       

      1. Create a new lead, or go to an existing lead. Particularly useful for quoting without a site visit are:
        1. The Location tab, as streetview allows you to get an idea of the architecture of the building.
        2. The Uploads tab, where you can store images sent by the prospective customer.
        3. On the General tab, the Leads and orders at same location button allows you to see existing leads and orders from nearby postcodes.
      2. Create a quote as normal (Quote tab > Manage Quotes). See the separate article for instructions on how to do this.
      3. On the Matrix page, in the bottom right click Edit Quote Details, then set Budget Quote to Yes and click Update Quote Details. 
      4. Budget quotes can be published like normal quotes, but they cannot be processed as orders.
