Understanding Panel Dimensions in integrate

Explore the different ways to measure panel dimensions.

Key Points: Understanding Panel Dimensions in integrate

1. Measuring panel width and height.
There are 3 ways to measure a panel:
a. Actual panel size (up to blue line)
b. Visible panel size (up to green line)
c. Visible panel size when covered by bolection moulding (smaller than 1 and 2)

2. Measuring dimensions using integrateDrawingBoard
The DrawingBoard shows measuring option b only.

Note: Since the size of the rebate or how much of the panel covered by bolection moulding cannot be specified, DrawingBoard panel dimensions remain unchanged when boelection moulding is added.

3. Displayed measurement variables.
The variables visible with in mm and visible height in mm on the panel loop, use the same values as those displayed on the DrawingBoard.

4. Enable panel thickness.
In DrawingBoard config, select property visibility, then search property filter for panel thickness.

5. Setting the measurement variables.
When set to 0, variables, such as, volume on the sash loop and frame excl cill volume on the item loop, will use a built-in default thickness to calculate the panel volume.

When set to anything other than 0, this value will be used in the calculation instead.

Note: For out-sourced panels, not manufactured in-house, panel volume is not counted as part of the timber volume calculations. If unsure, please contact EndtoEnd support.
