How to create a frame only drawing ?

This guide covers how to add only the frame to a drawing without any sashes

Step 1. Create a new drawing

Step 2. Click on 'Pair of Sashes', 'Casement Sash' or 'Direct Glazed Unit' Depending on your item type.

Step 3. On the left hand side under the property editor untick 'To Be Replaced' tick box, this will then remove the sash from the frame leaving you with the frame only.

Please note If you have a pair of sliding sashes you will need to untick the 'To Be Replaced' option on both the top and bottom sash.

I can't see the 'To Be Replaced' box

if you cannot see the to be replaced tick box within your drawing board you will need to enable this option within your property visibility.

Step 1.  Go to the 'DrawingBoard Config' page within your 'IntegrateCore' Module under the 'Pricing and Config' section.

Step 2. Navigate to the 'Property Visibility' tab, then under the part filter search for 'Sash' and under the property filter search 'toBeReplaced'

Step 3. Locate the item type part:

  • Casement: casementSashPart
  • Top Sash: topSashPart 
  • Bottom Sash: bottomSashPart 
  • Direct Glazed: glassPart

Change the drop down from 'Hidden' to ' - ' (Blank). Now you can go back to your drawing, refresh your page and the the 'ToBeReplaced' box should now be present.
