Duplex Bar Selector
The Duplex Bar Selector is an editor which allows you to configure rules to determine what size of astragal bars will appear on the Glass Cutting List for your duplex windows, e.g. if your astragals are a different width from your solid bars.
- To access the Duplex Bar Selector, from the main page click Lookup Editor within the integratePRO module, then Duplex Bar.

- To start adding rules, you will need to create a group. Click Groups in the top right, then type the name of your group and click Add new. You may wish to create separate groups for different ranges, or a group for sash windows, a group for casements, etc.

- Click Add new selector rule to create a new rule.

- Start writing your rule. You will need to give it a name, pick which group is belongs to, and choose a loop (we recommend leaving this field set to n/a, which means the rule will be run once for each item). Sort Order determines where it appears in the list of rules, and the priority when there are multiple rules (lower = higher priority).

- The Condition determines when the rule is triggered. See the example condition below, which will trigger for any item that is not set to individual panes/heritage units, and has more than one glazing bar:

For more on writing conditions, see the article on Working with rule editors. - The Value determines the text that appears on the glass cutting list, and the width of the astragal bar in the drawing. The width of the bar in mm should be placed before a | symbol, followed by the desired text, as in the example below:

This would appear on the glass cutting list like this:
22mm is the width of the solid bar as it appears on the Drawing Board. - More complex rules can be written to specify different types of astragal bar for different ranges and thicknesses of solid bar. The following rules will trigger when Range 1 is selected and glazing bar width on the drawing is set to 22mm:

- Make sure Active is set to Yes, and click Create New Rule.
