Adding a top or bottom rail to a direct glazed unit

integrate can draw a direct glazed unit with a bottom rail and/or a head rail. This is particularly useful when drawing a doorset with direct glazed sidelights, which need top and bottom rails to align with those of the doors.

  1. On the Drawing Board, select the Direct Glazed Unit.
  2. In the property editor on the left, find the properties for Sash Head and Bottom Rail (you may have to scroll down).  
  3. Set the desired dimensions. The bottom rail can be chamfered or stepped as well as square, which is why it has internal and external heights.
